Newer photos, older viewers
AVIF to JPG is for a picture saved in a new format that an older viewer, a client, or an upload form will not accept. The JPEG is ordinary and widely opened. Quality on the page sets the compression.
Clear pixels, if the AVIF has them, are filled with white because JPG cannot store transparency. Keep PNG, via /avif-to-png, when the background has to stay clear.
Run it
Open /avif-to-jpg and drop the file. The temporary upload is deleted after the download. The limit is 150 MB.

- Why convert AVIF to JPG?
- So a program that does not open AVIF can still show the photo.
- Is transparency kept?
- No. It becomes white. Use AVIF to PNG to keep it.
